Soak and wring out fabric. Lay out shirt face down on a flat surface. Pinch where you want the center of each spiral and spin. Work with one spiral at a time by spinning one a few turns, then another, then another. Return to previous sections to spin more if you want. The result will be a flat, thick, weird shaped slab with bulges out the sides (on left in picture at right). Rubberband across slab so that all spirals are contained. Dye pie-shaped wedges of each spiral in whatever pattern you choose. Each color used on each pinched section will result in a spiral of that color.
